Christening

Christening and baptism favours

At a christening the favour and the thank-you card are usually the same thing: a card with the child's name and the date, and a small keepsake the guest takes home - a candle, a glass dome, a test tube or a pair of angel wings.

Godparents can receive a more elaborate version of the same design, so that theirs stands apart from the rest of the series. For larger celebrations we work in batches, so it helps to tell us a rough number of guests early. Colours, ribbon and lettering are matched to your decor - blue and pink are popular choices, but not the only options.

Many of the same designs also work beautifully for a First Communion or a Confirmation, with more understated colours and wording. If you have both celebrations in the same year, they are easy to keep in one style.

The occasion, the date and a rough number of guests are enough to start. A photo of your decor, invitation or flower colours helps a lot.

You receive a proposal: design, colours, wording and packaging. Changing your mind at this step is completely normal.

We confirm the wording

Names, dates and spelling are confirmed in writing before anything is printed or made.

We make it and ship it

We make, pack and dispatch your order by hand. We agree on the shipping method and the timing before you order.

Getting married in Croatia?

Local maker, no import, no customs

If your wedding is in Croatia - Dubrovnik, Split, Hvar, Istria or anywhere else - the favours are made here and reach you without shipping from abroad, without customs and with less risk of last-minute delivery problems. Tell us the venue and the date and we will arrange delivery to your venue, your accommodation or your wedding planner.

If your celebration is elsewhere, we ship anywhere in the EU. Postage depends on the weight and the destination, so we work it out for your order and tell you before you decide. For destinations outside the EU, please ask us first.

The minimum order is 15 pieces. Larger series are not a problem but need more notice.

How far in advance should I get in touch?

We recommend getting in touch at least 3 to 4 weeks before the celebration. For larger or more complex orders, earlier is better.

Can you put names and dates on every piece?

Yes. Names, the date and a short line of text are standard - that is what makes these pieces personal.

Can I choose the colours?

Yes. Ribbons, cards and packaging are matched to your colours. The easiest way is to send a photo of the decor or the invitation.

How much does it cost?

The price depends on the model, the quantity and the packaging. Send us the occasion, the date and a rough number of guests and we will give you an exact quote.
